The first thing you need to do before you even publish posts is to use an SEO-friendly permalink structure.
A rule of thumb is to make it memorable and readable not just to web crawlers, but to human users as well. This means you should avoid using symbols and lengthy words that will make permalinks too confusing, cluttered, and less shareable.
Joost De Valk of Yoast SEO recommends ending URLs with the shortened version of the post name. It’s also acceptable to use category names as long as they, too, are short and descriptive.
