The BloggingTips community thrives on mutual respect, learning, and genuine networking.

We understand the importance of sharing resources, including links, that can enhance our collective knowledge and help us grow together.

However, to maintain the integrity of our community and ensure it remains a valuable space for everyone, we adhere to a strict policy against spam and unsolicited promotions.

    What Constitutes Spam?

    • Irrelevant Links: Sharing links that do not contribute to the discussion or have no relevance to the group’s focus.
    • Excessive Self-Promotion: Repeatedly posting content or links primarily intended to promote personal websites, products, or services without contributing to the community’s value.
    • Misleading Content: Posting deceptive links, including clickbait, that do not deliver what is promised.
    • Automated Submissions: Using bots or automated methods to post content or links.

    Our Stance on Community Spam

While we encourage the sharing of valuable content, resources, and tools that can benefit the community, our platform is not a venue for free advertisement or link farming. It’s about contributing, learning, and growing together.

We already get hundreds (yes, you read that right) of spammy link requests per month through our blog, so we’re very good at understanding what is legit and what is not.

No, we aren’t going to give you a free link, no, we don’t offer guest posts, and no, we don’t believe that you’re really a “freelance writer” looking to “contribute your expertise” – you want a link and we can see right through your requests, no matter how you word them.

    Enforcement of Our Policy

    • First Offense: Warning and removal of spam content.
    • Repeated Offenses: Permanent ban from the community.

We take a firm stance on anyone abusing our platform for free links and publicity.

Our priority is to protect the interests of our genuine members who are here to contribute positively. Abuse of this policy will not be tolerated and will result in a permanent ban from our community.

By joining our community, you agree to adhere to these guidelines, ensuring our platform continues to be a productive, respectful, and enriching environment for all members.

Let’s work together to build a community where everyone can learn, share, and grow without the noise and distraction of spam.
